Ashhkaro is a marketplace that lets customers discover local businesses, book appointments for services such as salons, workshops and clinics, subscribe to savings plans, and lets vendors list and manage their businesses. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

We collect the following information so the App can work:
- Account information: your full name, email address, phone number, city, and password when you create an account.
- Business (shop) information:for vendors, your business name, category, description, address, city, the business location you set by placing a marker on a map, services offered, prices, and availability. This location is provided by you and is not read from your device's GPS.
- Images you upload:photos you choose from your device's photo library to use as your business logo, shop photos, or product images.
- Booking information: the appointments you make or receive, including the selected service, date and time, price, and any notes you add.
- Activity information: reviews and ratings you leave, items you add to your wishlist, referral codes, and vouchers or memberships you use.
- Payment information: records of subscriptions, business listings and other purchases, including a payment reference. Payments are processed by our payment provider (PayFast) — we do not collect or store your full card or banking details on our servers.
- Device and usage information: basic technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, and basic diagnostic information, along with how you interact with the App, used to keep it secure and reliable.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account and keep you signed in;
- Enable bookings between customers and vendors;
- Show business listings, services, prices and locations;
- Process payments, subscriptions, memberships and business listings;
- Keep the platform safe and reduce fraud and abuse;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Improve, maintain, and secure the App.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the App. They process your information only as needed to provide their services:
- Supabase— hosting, authentication, database, and secure file storage for the App's data.
- PayFast — processing of payments. Your payment details are handled directly by PayFast under its own privacy policy.
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
4. App Permissions
Photos:the App lets you select images from your device's photo library so you can upload a business logo, shop photos, or product images. The App only accesses the images you choose to upload.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your information, including any images you upload, is stored securely with our backend provider and protected by access controls. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When your account is deleted, we remove your associated personal information as described below.
7. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at mmuqtasidrana@gmail.com. Upon verification of your request, we will delete your account and associated personal information, unless we are required by law to retain certain records (for example, transaction or tax records).
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
